Folkloric Ballet of Mexico

The Folkloric Ballet of Mexico will take you on a time-travel through the magic, colorful and beautiful experience of Mexican traditional dancing thanks to the 70+ choreographies created by its founder Amalia Hernández.
Created more than six decades ago, the Ballet has represented Mexico on many occasions and is now known to both Mexican and foreign public as the best aesthetic representation of Mexico and its culture.
Since 1961, when the Ballet won the first prize for group dancing at the Nations Festival in Paris, the numbers of glorious performances and awards won since then are difficult to count.
Because of the high quality of its staging (Palacio de Bellas Artes), the magnificent projection of folk art and the interpretative intensity of its dancers, the Folkloric Ballet of Mexico is a show that you cannot miss. Watch a video of a performance by clicking HERE.
